Therapy

We have a team of psychologists and counsellors who can provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

We can offer a range of different types of therapy suited to your need. All the therapies we offer are considered ‘talking therapies’, this means they involve talking to a clinician about your difficulties, exploring your feelings, thoughts, and patterns. This may be to better understand yourself or to find ways to make changes. The nature of this work means that it is best suited to older children, adolescents, and adults.

The relationship that you build with your clinician is incredibly important in the success of any therapy. All of our clinicians focus on building a trusting and safe relationship with you, and we would always encourage you to share if it does not feel like the right fit for you.

Online Therapy

Most frequently, we see our clients face to face at Somerset Clinic. However, some people prefer to have online sessions or find these fit in better with other commitments.

We ideally like the first appointment to be in person, however, please do discuss this with us if not possible.

Any online sessions will take place over Microsoft Teams. You will need to ensure you have a private and confidential space to attend online sessions.

If attending online sessions, please ensure you have made childcare arrangements if required as it is not possible to attend sessions with children present even if online.
